PHILOSOPHY The Branson Public Schools have adopted the philosophy that we must encourage excellence in the classroom. We believe we can do this best by providing children with the best opportunity for achievement at their own academic level. We are able to prepare a child for his or her future by encouraging diversity in subject matter and presentation. At Branson, we endeavor to guide each child in the pursuit of knowledge and to become a happy, useful, self-supporting citizen of our democracy. In addition, we strive to invest in the children an appreciative and positive attitude toward all people of the world. Our school believes in the type of education that should equip children to understand themselves, to realize their own value and position in society, and to adjust to change. Education should further aid our children in the development of self-discipline and courage.
